I made up a few Malaysian proverbs called peribahasa yesterday during Bahasa Melayu class. One of it is
~ Bagai naga turun ke bumi
maksud - tidak kira betapa penting atau berkuasa seseorang, mereka haruslah bersikap rendah diri.
(Like a dragon descending to Earth= Not mattering how important or powerful someone is, he or she should still be humble. )
~ Bagai tikus menbina pelangi
maksud - setiap orang termasuk orang yang tidak bernasib baik akan ada kejayaannya di hidup
(Like a mouse building a rainbow= Everyone including the less fortunate will have their time to shine.
Well I hope you will find this interesting, be reminded that I didn't have much time to come up with one before my teacher asked me to give her mine.
